This is why you need to see the full fractal math in order to execute the process. VIXVIX attempted to break out on a trending volatility basis but has already peaked as of right now. The only positions in the market that told you to exit were AI, and those were rotated into signals that were holding TRADE TREND—telling you it was just a dip like SPY, MAGS, and AAPL. SPYAfter seeing VIX close below TREND yesterday, there were signs to add back some of the US Equity exposure, and the Similar Set Signal told you exactly where to execute that play. MAGSMAGS never broke TRADE and remained a full position through this volatility spike based on process rules. AAPLApple was also really high on that buy-the-dip list in US Equities. Today it’s ripping back to the top end of the RANGE. Market moves only seem random to those without the full fractal picture. This opportunity was identified Monday before it happened. QQQNasdaq holding TREND is a good sign for overall market conditions. It wasn’t one I was buying the dip on, though, due to AI exposure. Sector SignalsIGVSoftware is also recovering bullish TRADE, and the play I made was to add MSFT after reducing some IGV yesterday when the VIX was breaking back to bearish TREND. MSFTSMHDamage is done in SMH. Not adding AI exposure on this rally—if anything, you can look to short tickers in the sector when the signal looks like this. I’d wait until SPY is at the top end of the RANGE or VIX is at the low end of the RANGE, as AI could recover if the rest of the market starts to reclaim ATHs. SPCXDuring the panic, SPCX gave a buy at the EXACT low. Yesterday I reduced into earnings because of volatility. Minimums are still great positions to have, especially when they do things like this. Now SPCX has some work to do to hold TRADE after peaking out exactly at the top end of the RANGE. Don’t chase up here. Buy at TREND is the process. XLEMore minimum positions doing some heavy lifting. XLVAnd another one. ILMNWith the Similar Set Signal there is always something in bullish TRADE TREND. This is a good example of finding one in the right sector at the right time. Options are endless when you can model the full fractal math on every single ticker in real time. Macro MarketsUS markets are starting to clear the panic. In macro, being long dollar (short FX and global equities) and short bonds (higher rates) while remaining full position longs in Bitcoin is the current macro play. DXYDollar continues to consolidate in firm bullish TRADE TREND. EurosEuro is the currency of choice for me. EPHEPhilippines is starting to roll over. TLTTLT is refusing to go lower and holding bullish TRADE with the top end of the RANGE now above TREND. I’m reducing some rate exposure on this signal. Maybe some of these peace headlines aren’t full of shit—I don’t know and I don’t care about the reason. I just know this means to reduce some rate exposure across the board. OilOil breaking back to bearish TRADE would hurt rising rate exposure—another reason to make some moves today. Follow the fractal math, not feelings or narratives. GLDStill in a position of strength in GLD and already at minimum in case rates break the wrong way. BTCBiggest winner in macro is Bitcoin. Math never said to do anything but buy and hold. Patience is a hell of a lot easier when you can see the full fractal math.
How many people just panic, sold all their exposure just to watch the market rally without them. Yes there was risk, no math never said to exit.
